AFS is not just for students. The AFS Global Educator Program provides a way for outstanding teachers from 10 different countries to volunteer in U.S. schools-at no charge to the schools. Visiting teachers from other countries contribute to U.S. schools in many ways such as teaching in both English and their native languages, sharing their country’s history, culture and geography.

For More Information, go to AFS National website, www.afs.org/usa or call 1-800-AFS-INFO to talk to a live person. You can also email the AFS Pacific Cascades Area team at info@afscascades.org to find out how local volunteers can help you.
